The MegaChlor-CD requires no pool modification. Simply attach the control panel near the pool, add 2 pounds of pool salt per 100 gallons of water, hang the electrode into the water, and plug it in.

The MegaChlor-CD has chlorine detection built directly into the electrode, meaning that it doesn't need to run on a timer like the original MegaChlor. This means that there is no need to adjust the timer when pool usage suddenly increases or decreases.
